Tuesday TASE Markets Falling

Tel Aviv--A gloomy rainy day on Ahad HaAm Street lowered the mood at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE). This and the downward opening trading on both the Nasdaq Stock Exchange and the Dow Jones Industrial Averages today are showing up in the negative performances of the TASE indices.
Dark skies and heavy rainfall were experienced throughout the day, today, in Israel.
Adding to the gloomy weather atmosphere, the U.S. markets are showing today heavy weakness. This influences Israeli stock weak performances.
BOI Investigates Resignation Request of Bank Discount's Head

Jerusalem--Bank Of Israel (BOI) is investigating reports that an oral request was made by holders of controlling interest stocks of Bank Discount.
That oral request was for the resignation of Bank Discount's Chairman of the Board, Shlomo Zohar.
According to sources, Chairman Zohar does not intend to resign.
Monday's TASE Markets Recover

Tel Aviv--After a depressing start of the week on Ahad HaAm Street, it seems that the stock markets on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) are recovering.
At the close of today's Monday's markets, the TASE indices were all up. Only the bank index closed down with a loss of 0.27%.
This comes as an opposite effect last month's decision by the Bank of Israel to not raise November's interest rate. This decision was done by the bank to not raise national inflation.

Tel Aviv--Sunday continues the gloomy trend on Ahad HaAm Street. Stocks continue the downward trend that is continuing from last week.
On the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, stock indices were down at the close of the markets. This at the same time that both the Down Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) and the Nasdaq Stock Exchanges were both on their downward trends that occurred on Friday.

Tel Aviv--The downward trend is bringing continuing gloom to Ahad HaAm Street at the close of today's markets.
At the close of the markets on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, the indices were negative a third day straight.
Wednesday's Markets Down

Tel Aviv--Maybe it is becoming a weekly tradition on Ahad HaAm Street. But, this is second week that on Wednesday, the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) is down.
Last week, the indices closed in negative territory. One week later, today, the indices are showing the same behavior.
This continues the downward trend in TASE stock trading from yesterday's close.

Tel Aviv--Tuesday trading was gloomy on Ahad HaAm Street today. This is following the pessimistic opening on the Wall Street markets in New York City.
This caused markets on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) to close downward.
In the New York City stock markets, both the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the Nasdaq indices were down at 10 a.m. New York time, 5 p.m. Tel Aviv time.
At 10 a.m., New York time, the Nasdaq was dropping below the 2126 mark, after attempting to climb above the 2142 mark in the opening markets. The Down Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) opened at 9688. But at 10 a.m., New York time, the DJIA was slipping from the 9907 mark that it achieved minutes earlier.

Tel Aviv--Monday's markets were up on Ahad HaAm Street at the close of active trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE).
Yesterday, the Bank of Israel announced that the November interest rate will remain unchanged, remaining at 0.75%. This is because of the lack of change of the BOI's expectations of national inflation.
This also means that there is stability in the Israeli national economy with no inflation or deflation.

Tel Aviv--Trading was up today on Ahad HaAm Street. In fact, all the major indices closed positively.
In active trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE), the index that closed the highest today was the Estate-15.
The Estate-15 index holds the top 15 companies, traded on the TASE, with the highest market capitalisation, whose focus is commerical real estate.

Tel Aviv--Today was a down day on Ahad HaAm Street. Traders seemed to behave with pessimism,.
That is because trading was down at the close of Thursday's markets on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE).
Losses were most prominent on the high tech and mid-cap indices.
